Who We Are
EES Consulting architects and engineers plc is a private consulting firm established primarily to undertake architectural and engineering consultancy in the building sector. The firm was established in March, 2005 EC, duly registered at the Addis Ababa City Administration Trade and Industry Development Bureau .Since then, the firm has been aggressively engaged in a number of consulting assignments across the country.

The firm has worked with different public and private organizations. This, as an institution, requires the ability to adapt to varying contexts to accommodate the needs of equally varying clients and stakeholders. Such flexibility is imperative if we are to keep abreast of the constant changes in the society we strive to serve. As such, we have to respond to changes not only in terms of the supply size of relevant design works, but also in terms of the demands made on us by our esteemed clients. In keeping with this, we have been working hard over the years on developing and enhancing our services in order to fully meet our clients’ demands. As a result of our genuine commitment to maintaining quality standards in all of the assignments entrusted to us by our clients, our firm has succeeded in standing out as a trust-worthy and reliable consultancy firm that has received official recognition and appreciations from major stakeholders in the area of mixed use commercial development.

Our Company is organized in main functional divisions scalable to adapt future expansions and to enhance team spirit. Organized with scalability and flexibility in mind, the firm has managed to create a professional team capable of meeting its core principles. Currently, we are organized in a structure enhancing team spirit and matrix organization in the following setup: Architectural Design Division (ADD), Planning and Project Implementation Division (PPID), Procurement and Contract Administration Division (PCAD) and Administration and Finance Division (AFD). The firm is organized into four divisions. Two of the divisions deal exclusively with producing & managing design and engineering works, one is responsible for all planning, communication and building permit activities and the last focuses on HR, the institution’s finances and IT.

The firm has 37 full time and 18 part time employees who acquire in-depth knowledge combined with deep experience and expertise in the various fields, namely: Architecture & Urban planning, Structural Engineer, Material Engineer, Geo-technical engineer Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Sanitary Engineer, Construction Technology & Management, Civil Engineer and Quantity survey, coupled with extensive teaching and research experiences.
